Recovery

I haven’t written for a while because I had my left kneecap replaced and my MPFL reconstructed earlier this week. Preparing for surgery was very stressful and I was pretty sick. The surgery was successful, but I got very ill from the anesthesia and had a seizure shortly after the surgery.

Luckily, I am home now and recuperating. My mood isn’t the best. Being dependent on others to do just about everything is difficult. I can’t even get my cat off of the kitchen table!

I’m hopeful that every day I will feel better. I am unbelievably lucky to have a wonderful partner. And a wonderful neighbor who just came over and played with my restless cat!
